We wanted to congratulate Climb X Team Member Sierra Blair-Coyle on winning the 2011 Youth ABS Regionals and Rocks and Ropes Gym in Tucson.  She is on her way to Nationals in Boulder and I had a couple questions I wanted to ask her.

 

What was the hardest part of the comp?

The hardest part of the comp was warming up! I always think that I am never warmed up enough and stress out the whole time preparing.

 

What do you do to prepare for a comp like Nationals?

To prepare for nationals, I keep up with my training and push myself as hard as I can every day. This is my second time to adult bouldering nationals, but I have competed at nationals since 2004.
