Dave Yerian's accolades include the first ascent of the Tuolumne classic Bachar / Yerian route with his late friend John Bachar. Dave is a fluid and graceful climber, who has been part of the Yosemite climbing community since the Golden Age of Climbing. His current project is a book on the progression and history of the Yosemite climbing community, in an effort to preserve the past while encouraging the current crop of climbers to respect each other as well as the rock. Talk with anyone who knows Dave and you will hear folks calling him "humble" and "one of the nicest people you will ever meet."
