“Friends in High Places”
It’s a new year, and we couldn’t be more excited for 2011. As a new name in the world, a lot of folks are wondering “who is Climb X?” We are climbers, and as climbers, we share values with our global gravity challenging tribe. Whether you climb in Yosemite, the Czech Republic, or Thailand, we share a common element as climbers; the desire to push boundaries, explore the globe, discover what’s within, and the vehement passion to protect the natural wonders we cherish. As climbers, we are the first to drop whatever occupies us to rescue or aid another. We replace bolts and anchors to ensure the safety of others. Currently, the American Alpine Club is participating in an exchange with climbers in Iran. In the words of American Climbing Ambassador Jim Donini: “Climbers have always bridged the gaps between governments. In the end, we’re all part of the same tribe.” That is why Climb X is devoted toward sustainability and giving back to the global climbing community. Our efforts include using sustainable organic hemp to line our shoes, creating quality reusable shoe boxes, supporting search and rescue volunteer organizations, and helping low-income youth and climbers in third world countries discover the pursuit of climbing. We are climbers. We are “Friends in High Places.”

| While the brand “Climb X” may be new, we have been hard at work designing and producing gear for global companies for the past 8 years. We strive to run the most modern climbing gear factory in the world by employing the most skilled professionals in the industry. By offering the pros that make your gear top pay, health care, recreation and dining services, excellent housing, and environmental services like solar energy, we are able to produce with impeccable consistency and quality control.

All Climb X shoes are the creation of our in-house design. All life safety gear undergoes rigorous scrutiny to achieve optimized safety and function. But don’t take our word for it. The proof is in the product. You wanna know who we are? Climb in our shoes and compare them to the rest.

The Pride of Our Company
Joseph Garland our general manager started climbing at age 11 (1977)has been working and associated to the climbing industry for over 30 years (Import, Export, Design, Distribution and Management). Joe has started, managed and founded dozens of companies and designed dozens or products. He recently (2009) resigned his management, organizational, sales, marketing position. Joseph Garland in the future will be using his management, design and product development to climb X and its customers only. So the new partnerships, such as with the Chinese factory, and the distribution arrangements went very smoothly when Climb X was founded. Neither Climb X, a Nevada cooperation, nor Climb X Gear, LLC has ever been affiliated in any way with Nelson or Mad Rock. The Climb X products we designed and produced will continue to be our products. We will also continue to design and produce new products for many other friends and respected companies. Young Chuwas the primary designer of the "Mad Rock" Products. Joseph Garland along with other staff of Nelson Sports had input on designs and colors of the "Mad Rock" Products. Joe Garland, Ken Park and his design and development staff in China handle most of the technical issues and materials and tooling's at what is now Climb X China as they had in the past. Its staff and Joseph Garland will continue to design, develop and produce new products for Climb X and many other companies. Our Chinese factory is a very small, very specialized factory producing exclusively climbing and life safety gear. Joseph Garland has never been to the "Mad Rock Factory" in Vietnam. Joseph Garland has no personal knowledge of any problems relating to the "Mad Rock" factory in Vietnam. Please contact the factories directly if you have any questions about these issues. While we know some of the producers and people who have been to the factories its not our place to discuss these things and they may be able to help you with questions. The Climb X factory is new but they have been producing products for many other companies. Many of these products have won awards and are worn by award winning climbers. Currently our team members are award winning and our products are also getting top ratings and winningbest of in many areas. Climb Axe is a new company so any awards prior to our company's (new brand) starting should be credited to the companies we designed and produced for. If you are wondering why? No "Climb X" Branded product won any award prior to January, 2010, and any awards that may have been won by "Climb X" branded products were awarded after January, 2010. The Brand is new. We appreciate the recognition of the Climbers, Reviewers and Magazines in 2010,2011 and we are looking forward to more of it 2012. We are the industry leader in designing and producing 3D molded climbing shoe components, Power uppers rubber toe caps, concave soles, 3D molded mid soles, offset Lacing, adjustable sized children's shoes, Spring loaded rope buckets, chalk buckets and other innovations.
